Adelaide V. Nordstrom, longtime Thornwood resident, passed away on January 20, 2019 at the age of 93. She was born in the Bronx, NY on March 11, 1925 to Robert and Cecelia Almquist. In 1945 she married the love of her life, the late Eric W. Nordstrom, Jr., who predeceased her in 1988. She is survived by her daughter Gail
(Jeff) Campbell of Carmel, NY and son Gary (Sandy) Nordstrom of Worthington, OH.
Cherished grandmother to Christopher Campbell, Victoria (Christopher) Carroll, Brett
(Kelly) Nordstrom, and Kristin Nordstrom (Chris Logan) and beloved great-grandmother
to Emma, Ben, and Avery Carroll, Jude Nordstrom, and Aubrey and Kacie Logan.
Her favorite things were dancing (especially Swedish dances with her
husband) and spending time on Cape Cod.
Visiting hours at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home in Pleasantville from 3-7 pm on
Friday, January 25, 2019 followed by a funeral on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11:30 AM at
