Obituary: Charlotte Hardy Brotz, formerly of Sleepy Hollow New York, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2011 at the age of 82 in her home in Chappaqua. She was a beautiful and gracious lady and will be remembered for her strong love of family and her compassion for others. A graduate of Hunter College, she was as a dedicated teacher and tutor. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Dr. Elliott Brotz. She is survived by her two daughters Susan Halper and Lynne Brotz and their respective husbands, Dr. Ira Halper and Michael Ballinger as well as five grandchildren, Adam Halper, Stephen Halper, Sara Hopple, Matthew Ballinger and David Ballinger. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, on March 25, at Sharon Gardens Cemetery in Valhalla, New York. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to My Second Home in Mt.
