Obituary for Joseph A. Iovino
Joseph A. Iovino, age 87, of Wappingers Falls, NY, formerly Yonkers, NY passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday May, 19 2020. He was born on June 11, 1932 in NY, NY to the late Lena and Peter Iovino.
Joe was a First Sergeant in the U.S. Army, 7th Infantry and served in Korea from 1951-1953. He is a retired school bus driver for White Plains Bus Company where he later served as a chairman.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years Nikki, sons Peter (Valita) of Henderson, NV, Joseph Jr. (Roseanne) of Elmwood Park, NJ and Christopher of the Bronx, son-in-law Matthew Frank of New York, NY and sister Connie (Carmine) Sgroi of Woodbury, NY. He is also survived by his grandchildren Joseph II, Anthony (Lely), Valerie, Andrew, Harrison and Allyson and great-granddaughter Ellie. Joe was predeceased by his daughter Deborah Frank and his brother and sister-in-law Anthony and Josephine.

A private cremation has been arranged and there will be a memorial service at a later date.
