Obituary for Katrin D. Poinelli
Katrin (Kitty) Poinelli was a life long resident of Pelham and New Rochelle. Kitty worked for Universal Studios in NYC as an administrative assistant for 40 plus years.
Kitty was a devoted and loving aunt to Susan Mouris, John Mouris, and great-aunt to John Paul Mouris. She was predeceased by her sister, Inez Poinelli Mouris, and brother, Henry Poinelli.
Up until her death, Kitty loved reading, spending time with family and friends, and watching her beloved Yankees.
Kitty was a woman before her time! Her independent spirit and wit will be forever remembered and cherished by those who knew and loved her. The Family will receive friends today (Sunday) at the Beecher Flooks Funeral Home in Pleasantville from 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Catherine’s R.C. Church in Pelham on Monday at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Mausoleum in Hartsdale.
