Antoinette Carolina Ragazzino Bianchini made her way to heaven surrounded by her loving family and caregivers on April 10, 2021. Antoinette, also known as “Mima” or “Nettie” lived a long, loving and vivacious life. She was born on April 30, 1922 and was raised in the Bronx. She grew up on Hughes Avenue with five siblings Carmela, Phyllis, Anna, Louise and Joseph who were sure to be waiting for her arrival in heaven. At the age of 22 she married Phillip Joseph Bianchini at Mount Carmel Church. After their marriage, Nettie and Phil moved to San Diego where Phil served in the Navy and Nettie worked as a spot welder. After some time in California they lived happily ever after in Yonkers for 63 years where they raised their three children Anthony (wife Donna, predeceased by Linda), Marie (husband Danny) and Lori (husband Joe). They created a family tradition by taking an annual trip to Lake George where Nettie made breakfast and coffee for the entire family before Phil took them skiing at 5 am. Nettie worked as a dressmaker in New York City before taking her talent to Young Vogue in Scarsdale where she consistently showed her love for style, friendships and matching outfits. She was blessed as a grandma to Daniel (predeceased), Samantha, Gregory, Justin, Alyssa and Jenn. She also was loved by 7 great grandchildren Dylan, Connor, Colin, Emma. Cole, William and Lillian. After her husband passed, Mima moved from Yonkers to Pleasantville, NY. She spent her 14 years in Pleasantville enjoying her courtyard, watching Criminal Minds, counting chips for her chocolate chip cookies, singing “The Lady in Red”, baking cheesecakes and spending time at local eateries. Nettie spent the last year of her life living and dancing away with her granddaughter, Jenn and surrounded by loving caregivers and family. Throughout her time on this earth Nettie became a local celebrity and even celebrated her 98th birthday with a parade and a debut on the national news. Nettie will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sibling, grandma, great grandma, aunt, cousin and friend. She brought love and light to everyone she met and her spirit will live on forever.
