Obituary for Patricia Ellen Corcoran
Patricia Ellen Corcoran died on Saturday, January 30, 2021 surrounded by her family in Weston, Fl.
Patricia was an outstanding mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Corcoran, daughter and son in law, Brenda and Chris Discala, her three grandchildren, Tyler, Christopher and Giada Mae, her brothers, Frank and Robert Power, sister in law, Kathy, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Patricia was a vivacious, athletic, eccentric, energetic, lover of life. She was an avid ice skater and skier, loved horseback riding, cigar smoking, shimmying, dancing, watching football and eating out with friends and family. Pat taught kindergarten for 12 years in Hawthorne, substituted in the Chappaqua elementary school district and tutored many children. Teaching was Pat’s calling, she loved children.
Patricia, also referred to as “Grammy Pat,” will be missed by all who knew her, her infectious laugh will re-vertebrate through all that had the blessing of meeting her.
Patricia’s wake will be held Friday, February 12, 4-8pm at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home in Pleasantville, NY. The funeral will be held Saturday, February 13, 10:30am at Immaculate Conception on Winter Hill Road, Tuckahoe, NY.
