Phyllis Anne (Dwyer) Livingstone of Pleasantville, NY passed away on April 14, 2020. Born on December 28, 1927 to Florence and Charles Dwyer in Mt. Kisco, NY. , Phyllis grew up in Thornwood, New York, graduating from Pleasantville High School in 1946.
Phyllis married Adam Livingstone of Bedford Hills, NY on August 21, 1949. They were married for 70-1/2 yrs living in Pleasantville for most of those years. Phyllis was a proud 10th generation resident of Pleasantville.
Phyllis was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her three children, going to Chatham Cape Cod every summer for 60 plus years and watching sports especially the New York Mets. She loved keeping up with current events and following politics. She was an avid reader and accomplished seamstress and had many beloved pets over the years. She was also on a bowling league for 50 years. Phyllis was well traveled going cross country multiple times as well as many trips to Europe.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, Adam, son Chris and his wife Peggy of New Milford, CT, daughter Patricia and her husband John O’Leary of Topsfield, MA, grandchildren Jennifer, Kelly, Jack, Molly, Dylan, Sean and great-grandson Jackson, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Patricia Newman and brother Charles Dwyer Jr., as well as son Curtis Stephen.
A private service will take place Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Beecher-Flooks Funeral Home, Pleasantville with burial to follow at Kensico Cemetery.
