Roger Buglione of Hawthorne, NY passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, just 3 days shy of his 79th birthday. Roger was born on July 14, 1944 in Mt. Kisco, NY and raised in the town of Mt. Pleasant, NY. His parents were Stephen and Mae Buglione and 2 brothers, Charles who passed in 1991 and Steven Buglione from Millwood. On October 9, 1965 he married Barbara Wallner and remained in Hawthorne where they continued to grow their family business, Buglione Plumbing & Heating, Inc. They raised two children, Susan Briggs (Buglione) and Steven Buglione and his wife Sheila. Together they grew his beloved family of 5 grandchildren, Robert and Andrea Briggs, Steven, Jake and Katelyn Buglione.
Roger and Barbara continued the family business and watched a 3rd
and 4th generation by son Steven and grandson Jake continue the tradition. It was his dream come true. His endless passion is being part of the Mt. Pleasant Sportsman’s Club in Chappaqua, NY where he was the President from 1983 until current. He took great pride in maintaining the nonprofit and making it flourish with his large
extended family members of the club. One of his treasures was his 1957 Chevy and 1971 Chevelle that he restored and took to many car shows with his car club buddies in which he was awarded many
trophies.
