Sean Michael O’Reilly passed away peacefully in his home in Hawthorne, NY on Friday, January 17, 2020 at the age of 55. Born on August 28,1964 at Misericordia Hospital in the Bronx, NY., his family moved to Pleasantville in 1966 where Sean attended the public schools and graduated from Pleasantville High School. He subsequently attended the State University at Albany and graduated with a Bachelor of Science. He relocated to Boston and worked for Verizon for most of his career. Sean was an avid sports fan and took pride in being a part of the 1981 Pleasantville High School Football team. He is survived by his mother Jeanne O’Reilly, his brother George O’Reilly (wife Edie), sister Kristen Porteus (husband Geoff), and seven nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Joseph O’Reilly and his sister Jennine Conway. Private services were held on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Holy Innocents Church.
