Obituary for Ursula A.M. Kehrle (Reschke)
Ursula Kehrle, 88, of Larchmont, NY, passed away on February 16, 2023.
Ursula was predeceased by her parents Otto and Marie Reschke and her husband Erwin. She is survived by her sons Austin (Lisa) and Craig (Vicky Lee Struss). Ursula is also survived by her grandchildren Ben, Kim and Sova, whom she adored.
Ursula worked at Strauch Jewelers on Mamaroneck Avenue for more than 30 years until her retirement in 2007.
Ursula was a long-time member of St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mamaroneck. She served the St. Johns community as Christian Education Chair, on many Easter Breakfast Committees and as a member of the Lutheran Church Women (LCW) group, where she helped run many holiday arts and crafts events to raise funds for the church. She also served on the Church Council and as part of the call committee, which brought Pastor Marvin Henk to St. Johns.
In her free time, Ursula loved to spend time reading about a wide variety of subjects including comparative religion, herbs and anything that captured her imagination. She also loved to spend time with her cats and in her garden. She was especially fond of Lilacs and Lily of the Valley.
