Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Guy Mayers can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Biking in Flushing

I'm Guy First Cousin,

When I was young (10 thru 13 years Old)  I used to spend many summer days with Guy, Aunt Anna and Uncle Charles.

I have many memories of this important time in both our lives.

We were always inventing games to keep us busy during the day in Flushing.  One of the games involved using Guy's English Racer Bike.

We would pedel as fast as we could for about 200 feet, down Barkley Ave,  then coast for as long as we could.  We would coast for about Three City Blocks. Down Barkley then make a right turn down the hill then at the bottom of the hill we make a left turn and until we  stopped.

We would do this all day and keep records.  Just one of the memories I have.

P.S.  Guy taught me High School math two years before I had the classes in High School.  This had a lot to do with why I became an Engineer.

Rest In Peace Guy.

Kenneth
