Obituary for Claudine Waterbury (Coll)

Claudine Waterbury of Thornwood, NY passed away at the age of 90 on Thursday, July 23, 2015 after a long illness. Claudine was born to Jean and Louise Coll on December 8, 1924 who predecease her. Claudine was also predeceased by her beloved husband of 68 years, George Ferris Waterbury on January 10, 2013. They were married for 68 years. She is survived by her loving nephew Douglas (Theresa) Haviland and niece, Nancy (Robert) Connick who took exceptional and loving care of her after George’s passing. Claudine is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews throughout the United States and France.

Claudine was an Executive Assistant and Office Manager with a boutique advertising agency for over 50 years. Claudine and George were lifelong members of Tamarack County Club in Greenwich, CT. They also were instrumental in the formation of The Mt. Pleasant Historical Society and took great pride in their Westchester heritage.

A wake will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, 418 Bedford Road, Pleasantville, NY. A service will be held on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial service will be at Middle Patent Cemetery, 6 Bedford Banksville Road, Bedford, NY.
