Obituary for Philip P. Bozzuto
Philip P. Bozzuto, of Palm Coast, FL died on January 7, 2016 after a long bout with cancer. He will be remembered for his persistence and bravery over the many years of his battle.
Phil was born December 27, 1950, son of the late Philip Sr. and Josephine (Cetta) Bozzuto. He is survived by his brother Anthony (wife Christine), children Michael and Angela, grandson Dominic Reynolds, and his beloved nephews Anthony Bozzuto, Joseph Bozzuto (wife Meredith).
He was employed by and retired from Benfield Electric in White Plains, NY. Phil subsequently relocated to Palm Coast, FL.in 2003. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial gifts be made to Florida Hospital Hospice Care (Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House) (www.fhhospicecare.com) or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
Memorial Visitation will be held at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, 418 Bedford Road, Pleasantville, NY. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday January 27 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. A Memorial Mass will be held at Saint Augustine’s Church, Eagle Park Route 9, Ossining, NY on Thursday, January 28th at 10:00 AM. A private burial will follow.
