Obituary for Lorne Scott Zwaresh
Lorne S. Zwaresh, of New York City, formerly of Thornwood, NY, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away Tuesday September 6th, 2016, after a brief illness. Born November 21st, 1974, to Lorne and Patricia Zwaresh, Lorne was a graduate of Holy Rosary School, Iona Preparatory School Class of 1992, and Villanova University Class of 1996.
After graduating from Villanova, Lorne began his career working at Moore Business Forms, a sales job that would launch his future and passion in the Biotechnology/Biopharmacology industry.
A devoted New York Yankee and St. John Red Storm fan, Lorne was passionate in his quest to keep his nephew from becoming a Mets fan.
Lorne is survived by his parents, Lorne and Patricia Zwaresh, nee Hunt, of Thornwood, NY, his sister Tricia (Peter) Sabini, nephew Paul Sabini and niece Alexandra (“Allie-bird”) Sabini, of Ossining, NY, Aunts Jo Ann Troyan and Myrtle Hunt, Uncles Peter Hunt and Stanley Zwaresh, and many cousins, all of Ontario, Canada.
To honor Lorne’s life, family and friends may call at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, 418 Bedford Rd. Pleasantville, NY, Saturday, September 10th, 2016 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, September 12th at 11 o’clock in the morning.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Rosary Hill Home, Hawthorne, NY in Lorne’s name.
